Corporatocracy & The Religious Undertones sounds like the most promising political avant rock band I can imagine! Maybe faux punk if they get lazy on the lyrics. I realize this is not your point but the name jumped out at me.

I can’t say I’ve heard of Simon Winchester but I think you’re stirring all the right ingredients in the cauldron of what influences media sales. These days in-depth investigations only seems to happen on comedy news programs like John Oliver and Patriot Act — both of which are rigorously investigative but only 20 minutes or so. Surely we can stay on topic for at least a half-hour.

And well said, my friend. “We’re afraid to not be anthropocentric.” I couldn’t agree more and I think we do so at the expense of actual information exchange. Which, in turn, is a disservice to us humans.
