Gallego & Kelly — Arizona Veterans Are Fighting for Americans as Their Senators

“From VA care for Veterans to Social Security for seniors to the National Park Service, Elon Musk and President Trump are blowing up parts of the United States Government that benefit American citizens every single day,” Arizona Senator Mark Kelly was clear about the threats Americans are facing and why he voted against the Trusk budget proposal.¹
“I took an oath to protect the Constitution. I cannot vote for the Republican plan to give unchecked power to Donald Trump and Elon Musk. I cannot give permission for inflation-causing tariffs and firing thousands of veterans, things that are already having devastating effects on Arizonans and Americans.”
Astronaut Mark Kelly isn’t just publicly getting rid of his Tesla and calling Musk an asshole. He was a Navy combat pilot before NASA sent him to space. The son of two police officers, his mom being one of the first female cops in their town, the Kelly family is dedicated to public service.
After multiple deployments during Desert Storm, Senator Kelly received the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, two Distinguished Flying Crosses, and multiple Air Medals. He retired as a Navy Captain.
